2025 Excellence in Concrete Construction Entry
Thank you for your interest in the 2025 EIC Awards. You can find details about the project categories, eligibility requirements, and submission guidelines below. We may download the entry template to help you gather the necessary information.
Deadline: All projects must be submitted online by Wednesday, April 30, 2025, to be considered for the 2025 EIC Awards.
Kindly note that projects submitted between July 2020 and August 2023, with the submitter's permission, are complete and will be considered. If you haven't responded already, we need to hear from you. Please get in touch with Mary Bauer at [email protected] to confirm that your submission should be included for review by the 2025 EIC judges panel in the category it was originally submitted. Your response is needed by Friday, March 14, 2025.

Project Eligibility & Entry Details
- Eligible projects must have been completed between 01/01/19 & 06/01/24 and are located in Washington State.
Entry submissions are due by April 30, 2025

- Please upload 7 - 15 high-quality project photos representing finished and/or during construction phases.
- Drone or video footage may supplement project still photos. Please upload your drone footage to YouTube first, then share the link via your online entry.
- Please remove any company names from photos and video.
- A one-page project description highlighting your project and the use of concrete is required. Judges rely on the quality of your project description and concrete elements.
Multiple Category Selections
A project MAY be eligible for two categories and MUST include a unique project category summary and photos emphasizing specific details of the 2nd category. WACA reserves the right to accept or deny 2nd category entries if it does not meet eligibility requirements.

- Ready Mix Supplier
3. A one-page MS Word or PDF summary of your project
Your project summary plays a vital role in judging your project. Please be specific when describing & promoting your project!
4. Upload 7 - 20 Photos (10MB Max) of your project during or after completion
- Quality photos are recommended! Please, no low-resolution cell phone photos.
- Mailed thumb drives are acceptable- mail to WACA 22223 7th Ave S., Des Moines, WA 98198
- It's helpful to name your photos using the project name
- Drone or video footage should be uploaded to YouTube first, then share the link with us via this online entry.

Please keep in mind that the EIC Awards program is not solely focused on glamorous, unique projects. Craftsmanship, quality, and well-crafted ordinary projects are equally important. We can never predict what our judges will deem award-winning. This program offers the chance to showcase your work or that of your customers to receive recognition across the industry.
Nominated finalist projects and select entries are also eligible for consideration in the ACI International Concrete Awards program, where projects from Washington will compete with concrete projects from around the globe.

The WA Aggregates & Concrete Association formally recognized the professional accomplishments in the outstanding use of Ready Mix Concrete throughout Washington State on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Seattle.
