Concrete Dispatcher  

Job Overview 

  • Company: Stoneway Concrete (Gary Merlino Construction Co., Inc.) 
  • Location: 9216 8th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108 
  • Position Type: Full-Time 
  • Role: Concrete Dispatch Specialist / Order Taker  
Key Duties
 
  • Taking Orders: Answer phone calls and input orders accurately, handling up to 100 calls per day. 
  • Scheduling: Read demand graphs to schedule drivers and manage daily workloads. 
  • Coordinating: Talk with drivers via radio, batch plant operators, and quality control teams to keep truck deliveries running smoothly. 
  • Product Knowledge: Learn and remember concrete mix designs, product codes, and jobsite directions.  
Qualifications & Preferences
 
  • Strong data entry and logistics skills. 
  • Previous ready-mix dispatch or high-volume call experience. 
  • Good memory for codes, products, and customer names.

Mixer Driver, Class A or B

Job Requirements

    • Hold a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
      • Have 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
        • Maintain a clean driving record and pass standard safety screenings.
        Core Responsibilities
          • Drive and operate multi-axle mixer trucks safely from the plant to local construction sites.
            • Control concrete flow and manage truck chutes/barrels.
              • Rinse and clean mud from the barrel using scrapers and wash platforms before and after runs.
                • Maintain radio and GPS contact with dispatchers.

                Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Seattle, WA

                Position Summary
                The mechanic will operate, maintain, and repair large heavy Equipment.  Must have experience in heavy equipment.
