Topic: Seattle Waterfront development plan

A bold and rejuvenated Seattle Waterfront development plan is underway.  The Seattle waterfront has changed dramatically  over the last 5 years with showcase projects including the new Elliot Bay Seawall and makeover of the Seattle Aquarium.  With the Viaduct removal completed, this opens up a whole new set of possibilities and concrete will be used in a myriad of applications of pedestrian and open space.  Waterfront Seattle will rebuild Alaskan Way over a span of 17 blocks from Pioneer Square to Belltown and include 9 acres of public open space…..

Presented By

Jessica Murphy PE; Sr Project Manager at the City of Seattle, Office of the Waterfront and currently serves as the Construction Program Manager for the City’s $700M Waterfront Program and Project Manager for the $100M Overlook Walk project.  Jessica is a is a long-time project manager for the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) overseeing such projects as the Elliott Bay Seawall Project, S Lander St Bridge Project, First Hill Streetcar and countless paving projects.
