Job Title: Industry & Technical Coordinator
Reports To: Executive Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Prepared Date: June 2024
Salary: Starting @ $85,000 - $115,000 DOE 


In Support of the Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association (WACA), this position will support the association with their specific industry knowledge and any certification and training experience. This position will support the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA) training programs, which follow best management practices. To support the industry, this position will be current on standards for education, certification, and training, as well as industry innovations, and will have a technical understanding of the concrete and aggregate industry. This position will also be a technical resource for members and affiliated associations, agencies, contractors, etc.

Very nice single-person office space(s) are available in our Association offices at 22223 7th Ave South in Des Moines, WA. This residential setting near the Des Moines Marina features an upstairs office space perfect for one-person use or a two-person team. Preferred hours of operation are between 7:00 and 6:00 p.m., and low-traffic businesses are also preferred—please no therapy, counseling, or patient-based businesses. 

Large Office Space - Monthly rate negotiable   

Some furnishings may be available, including a secured building, utilities, garbage and recycling, parking, phone, data, and wireless access throughout—a full kitchen and amenities with separate meeting and reception area.  Use of a large, well-furnished 15-person conference space is also available.
