Topic: PERI's 3D Construction Printing Technology - An Update
Last year we heard from Dr. Fabian Meyer-Brötz on the emerging tech nology of 3D Construction Printing. Joining us this year to update on their progress, we are pleased to welcome Roberto Montemayor, PERI. Robert o Montemayor is a concrete engineer working as a business developer/applica tion engineer for PERI 3D Printing Construction. He holds a MS degree in co nstruction materials from the University of Illinois and has more than seve n years of experience in the concrete industry.
It is an exciting time to be in the concrete industry! 3D printing co
nstruction is a reality! In the last years, many 3D printing projects have
emerged around the world. PERI, one of the global leaders for concrete form
work and industrial scaffolding, has taken a big step into the future. The
company has now printed three fully permitted and functional residential pr
ojects.
This session will provide:
Additionally, the session will present the benefits, challenges, and future of concrete 3D printing in different construction sections.
View a recently completed PERI pro ject in which PERI partnered with the City of Tempe, AZ and Habitat for Hum anity, completing a fully permitted functional 3D c onstructed home. Additional US projects are underway.
