What to Expect:

Review: Three hour review
Lunch break 
Written exams: Two-part exam: Part 1 Installation and Part 2 Inspection.

• In Part 1, the forty-five-minute Installation written examination is closed-book, consists of 45 multiple-choice questions, and requires a minimum passing score of 74%.
• In Part 2, the two-hour Inspection written examination is open-book, consists of 90 multiple-choice questions, and requires a minimum passing score of 60% on each subsection PLUS a 70% overall exam score.
• Note: Certification is valid for a period of five years from the date of successfully completing all requirements.

Please be considerate of our busy examiners and other examinees and arrive on time for your exams. Come prepared to pass!

Study Materials—After payment is received, WACA will mail ACI study guides to the address listed on the registration form.

Examinees may use a standard calculator; cell phone calculators are NOT allowed.

Identification—Please bring a proper photo ID to the exam. For the demographic sheet, examinees must know the last four digits of their social security number. 

ACI CERTIFICATION REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

 If you need to cancel or make changes to an ACI certification exam session registration, your options are:

 Find a substitute to fill your spot(s).

• First 48 hours from registration: A full refund, minus a $35 administrative fee, will be applied to your payment card.
• After 48 hours from registration: You are eligible to receive a credit extended for the same or a different session, must be used within 12 months of the original session date, or if preferred, you may request a refund:
  • If study materials have been mailed,
    • Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 calendar days prior to the session date, and:
    • The following fees apply:
      • $150 for study guide*, plus $60 for ASTMs if purchased
      • $50 administrative fee.
  • If study materials have not been mailed,
    • Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 calendar days prior to the session date, and:
    • The following fees apply:
      • $50 administrative fee.

 Less than 7 calendar days before session date: Cancellations made less than 7 calendar days of the session date are only eligible for credit for another session* and must be used within 12 months of the original session date.

 Important! No-Shows on exam day are not eligible for any refund or credit.

 Please verify registration accuracy prior to submitting.  Changes made afterward may result in additional fees.

 *Some programs may have higher study guide costs. If this applies to your registration, you will be notified of the study guide amount should a refund be requested. If your credit is applied to a different program, additional fees will apply to receive a study guide associated with that program.
