Friday, June 20, 2025, Placer Day Event - Effectively Placing & Handling 1L SCM blends and admixtures Cement and Other Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs)

Join us on Friday, June 20, 2025, for a unique opportunity! 
The Placer Day aims to help concrete finishing crews and contractors become more comfortable working with 1L SCM blends and admixtures through an interactive workshop. This event will enable placers and contractors to learn what to look for when using 1L SCM blended cements, address common misconceptions, answer real concerns, learn about available admixtures, and establish best practices for pouring and finishing with these materials. Get ready to learn while getting your hands dirty!

We begin with breakfast and orientation at 6:30 AM at the Cedarbrook Lodge,  18525 36th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98188. Alternatively, you may choose to skip breakfast and join us at 10:00 AM at Cement Masons Local 528, 6737 Corson Avenue South, Building D, Seattle, WA 98188
