Welcome!

Please join the WA ACI Chapter in the Spokane, WA area at the WM Winkler office with a site tour of their precast facility. We will start with a meet-and-greet reception followed by the tour, dinner, and presentation on PRO: An ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Productivity by Phil Diekemper, Executive Director. Thanks to our valued member company, WM Winkler, for welcoming us to their facility!

Presentation:  PRO, ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Productivity, the History and Creation, the "Why" of PRO. Presented by Phil Diekemper, MBA, BS-CE (Structures), PRO Executive Director, Senior VP of Ceco Concrete Construction (Retired)

**Why PRO?**
The productivity growth in concrete construction has not kept pace with other sectors. The American Concrete Institute (ACI) recognizes that a focused, collaborative effort across the industry is essential to address the obstacles to constructability and enhance productivity in concrete construction. PRO was established to promote advancements in structural design, optimizing labor and time in relation to materials, with the overarching goal of facilitating rapid industry changes.
PRO serves as a central hub for contractors, designers, and material suppliers, aiming to promote improved design, new technologies, and processes that enhance concrete construction productivity. Through a collaborative approach, PRO will work to identify and resolve issues that hinder productivity in the concrete construction sector. We invite industry leaders interested in advancing concrete design to engage with us and share PRO's innovative vision. We will discuss PRO's initiatives, demonstrate resources, and explore membership opportunities.
