PREVAILING WAGE SURVEY WORKSHOPS May 29 & 30

Ready Mix producers will have received a prevailing wage survey from L&I to update prevailing wages and benefits. The survey period collects wage data over the previous 2 years and will be a complicated process for most Ready Mix Companies. The survey is limited to Ready Mix truck drivers.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you complete the survey form and return to L&I by June 30, 2012. If you didn't get a survey form you will want to request one.

In order for wage and benefit rates to reasonably reflect what you pay in the largest city in your county, you will want data submitted based on wage rates you pay. We can assure you, "interested others" will be participating and submitting wage rates based on their desired outcomes of your wage and benefit rates.

The data submitted will be reviewed, compiled, calculated and posted to reflect prevailing wage rates for your county and is calculated based on prescribed methodology per RCW & WAC. To help you complete and submit a proper survey we have set up 2 workshops with L&I:

Western WA: TUESDAY, MAY 29th from (10:00am – 12:00pm). Location: Associated Builders & Contractors Office (ABC): 11061 NE 2nd St. Suite 200, Bellevue, 98004

Eastern WA: WEDNESDAY, May 30th from (1:00pm - 3:00pm). Location: Inland Empire AGC offices: 4935 E. Trent Ave Spokane 99212.
